Live In Vitality Wellness Center

Accessibility Statement

We're committed to making liveinvitality.net welcoming and accessible to every visitor — including those using assistive technologies.

Effective: January 1, 2024
Last Updated: May 5, 2026

At Live In Vitality Wellness Center, we believe everyone deserves access to information about their health, wellness, and care — without barriers. We're committed to ensuring our website is accessible to people of all abilities, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice navigation, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.

This Accessibility Statement describes our ongoing commitment, the standards we work toward, the steps we've taken, and how to reach us if you experience any difficulty using our website.

01

Our Commitment

Accessibility Is a Priority

We're committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We believe digital accessibility is a fundamental part of welcoming patients into our care — and we work continuously to improve the user experience for everyone.

Live In Vitality strives to design, develop, and maintain our website in alignment with widely recognized accessibility standards and best practices. We treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time project.

02

Standards We Follow

We aim to meet or exceed the following accessibility standards:

WCAG 2.1 Level AA ADA Title III Section 508

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), is the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. WCAG defines guidelines for making web content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a wide range of disabilities.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III applies to places of public accommodation, including the websites of healthcare providers and other businesses serving the public.

Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act sets accessibility requirements for federal agencies and is widely adopted as a baseline standard for web accessibility in the United States.

03

What We've Implemented

To support accessible use of our website, we have:

  • Used clear, readable typography with adequate font sizes and line spacing
  • Maintained sufficient color contrast between text and background colors
  • Designed our site to be navigable using keyboard-only controls
  • Structured content with proper heading hierarchy to support screen reader navigation
  • Provided alternative text for meaningful images so screen readers can describe them
  • Built our site to be responsive and usable across devices, browsers, and screen sizes
  • Used descriptive link text rather than vague phrases like "click here"
  • Designed forms with clear labels and accessible input fields
  • Ensured embedded content (video, audio, third-party tools) is selected with accessibility in mind where possible
  • Made important documents (such as our Privacy Policy, HIPAA Notice, and Terms of Use) available in accessible HTML format

04

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we recognize that perfect accessibility is an evolving goal. Some content on our website may not yet meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria. Areas we are continuing to improve include:

  • Third-party content — Some embedded tools, such as our online booking system, patient portal, social media feeds, and external partner platforms, may have varying levels of accessibility outside of our direct control. We work with vendors who prioritize accessibility and advocate for improvements where gaps exist.
  • Older content — Earlier blog posts, images, or media may not yet have full accessibility features such as alt text or captions. We are working to update older content as part of our ongoing accessibility improvements.
  • PDF documents — Some PDF documents available for download may not be fully accessible. If you need a PDF document in an alternate accessible format, please contact us and we will work to provide it.

If you encounter any specific accessibility barrier, we want to know. Your feedback helps us prioritize improvements and serve everyone better.

05

Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies on modern browsers and operating systems:

  • Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), and TalkBack (Android)
  • Speech recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking
  • Screen magnifiers and high-contrast display modes
  • Browser-based accessibility extensions and reader modes
  • Keyboard-only navigation

We test on current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge browsers. If you experience compatibility issues with a specific browser or assistive technology, please let us know.

06

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is not a destination — it's a practice. We are committed to continuous improvement and conduct ongoing efforts to:

  • Review website accessibility periodically
  • Train our team on accessibility best practices
  • Evaluate new content and features for accessibility before publishing
  • Stay current on evolving accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Respond promptly to accessibility-related feedback from users

07

In-Person Accessibility at Our Office

Beyond our website, we are committed to providing accessible care at our physical location. Our office at 646 E Bloomingdale Ave in Brandon, Florida, includes accessibility considerations for patients with mobility, sensory, or other needs.

If you have specific accommodation needs for your in-person visit — such as wheelchair accessibility, communication assistance, or any other support — please contact us in advance and we'll work to ensure your visit is comfortable and accessible. We want every patient to feel welcomed and supported.

08

Feedback and Reporting Issues

If you experience any difficulty accessing our website, encounter content that is not accessible, or have suggestions for how we can improve, we want to hear from you. Your feedback is essential to making liveinvitality.net better for everyone.

When reporting an accessibility issue, please include:

  • The page URL or specific location where you encountered the issue
  • A description of the problem you experienced
  • The assistive technology, browser, and operating system you were using (if applicable)
  • Your preferred method of contact for follow-up

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five (5) business days and will work with you to resolve the issue or provide the information you need in an accessible alternative format.
