Fatigue and brain fog care in Brandon, FL

Tired is not who you are.

Exhausted adult struggling with fatigue and brain fog, root-cause care in Brandon, FL
The fog can lift.

Coffee stopped working a while ago. You reread the same sentence three times. You wake up already counting the hours until bed, and everyone keeps telling you it is just stress, just age, just life.

Constant exhaustion and brain fog are messages, not personality traits. We help you find out what your body is trying to say, and what to do about it.

A day on empty

This is how so many of our patients describe their day: tired at the alarm, propped up by coffee, crashing mid-afternoon, then wide awake at bedtime. Now see what we are working toward together.

Most people who come to us light up more than one pattern.

Notice how your answers point in more than one direction. That is why we look at the whole picture instead of one lab at a time, and why a single normal result rarely tells the full story.

This is not a diagnosis. It is a starting point for a real conversation.

Why fatigue gets missed

You are not imagining it, and you are not the problem. The usual approach simply is not built to find it.

The visit is too short

Fatigue has a story, and it rarely fits into a few rushed minutes. When there is no time to listen, the pattern is never seen.

The labs are too few

A basic panel can come back normal while ferritin, B12, vitamin D, free T3, fasting insulin, or hormones quietly run low.

Each system is seen alone

Thyroid, hormones, gut, blood sugar, and sleep are often checked separately, when fatigue usually comes from how they affect each other.

What we look at

Your workup is built around your symptoms, history, and goals, not a one-size panel. These are the areas we most often explore when energy and focus have slipped.

Every result is reviewed with you line by line, in plain language, so you understand what each number means for how you feel. Many of these tests are available through our lab testing menu.

  • Full thyroid panelTSH, free T4, free T3, reverse T3, and both thyroid antibodies
  • Iron storesFerritin and a complete iron picture, not hemoglobin alone
  • B12, folate, and vitamin DCommon, fixable, and closely tied to energy, mood, and memory
  • Blood sugar and insulinFasting insulin and A1c to catch trouble years before diabetes
  • Sex hormonesEstrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, timed to your life stage
  • Cortisol and stressHow your stress response is shaping sleep and daytime energy
  • InflammationMarkers that show when the body is quietly working overtime
  • Gut functionDigestion and absorption testing when symptoms point there

About brain fog

Woman with brain fog and low energy trying to focus

Brain fog is not a diagnosis. It is a symptom, and it almost always has a cause worth finding.

It can come from low thyroid hormone, falling estrogen or testosterone, blood sugar swings, low iron or B12, poor sleep, gut inflammation, or a long season of stress. Often it is more than one of these at once.

What it can feel like

  • Walking into a room and forgetting why
  • Reaching for a word that will not come
  • Rereading emails without taking them in
  • Losing focus in conversations and meetings
  • Feeling like you are thinking through cotton

When it cannot wait

Sudden confusion, trouble speaking, facial drooping, weakness on one side, or the worst headache of your life can be signs of a stroke. Call 911 right away.

From fog to clarity

Questions we hear often

Could it just be stress or getting older?

Stress and age can play a part, but they are rarely the whole story. Feeling exhausted every day is common, and it is not normal. Most of the time there are specific, measurable drivers we can find and address.

My labs came back normal. Why would I come here?

Many routine panels do not include ferritin, free T3, thyroid antibodies, fasting insulin, or hormone levels, and results can sit inside a broad normal range while still being low for you. We look further, and we read your results in light of how you actually feel.

What does a fatigue consultation cost?

Your new patient consultation is $349. Your lab review visit is $249, and follow-up visits are $185. Lab testing is priced separately, and many tests are available through our lab testing menu.

I already have recent labs. Can you just review them?

Yes. A Lab Results Review visit at $199 is a good place to start. We walk through what you have, explain what it means for your energy, and tell you if anything important is missing.

Do you take insurance?

Fatigue and root-cause care is self-pay, and we are happy to provide a superbill on request for you to submit to your plan. We accept Cigna, Curative, and Tricare Select East for primary care only.

Can a B12 shot or IV give me my energy back?

They can help, especially when testing shows a deficiency or you need support during recovery. We use IV therapy and injections as part of a plan, not as a replacement for finding the cause, so the results last.

How soon will I feel better?

It depends on what is driving your fatigue. Some people notice a difference within a few weeks, especially when a deficiency is corrected. Hormone, thyroid, and gut patterns can take a few months, and we adjust your plan as your labs and symptoms change.
